ANAPホールディングス reported in its consolidated financial results that it had recorded an unrealised loss on crypto assets. The assets in question were Bitcoin held by its subsidiary ANAPライトニングキャピタル as of 31 August, with the unrealised loss amounting to ¥4.37466 billion. The unrealised loss on BTC resulted from a reassessment based on the market value at the fiscal year-end and did not involve a cash outflow.
In its core business, revenue increased by ¥21 million year on year to ¥2.128 billion, while the operating loss widened to ¥2.155 billion from ¥1.456 billion in the previous fiscal year. As of the end of August, Bitcoin holdings stood at 1,432.16 BTC, with a market value of approximately ¥17.98 billion.
In the previous fiscal year, the company recorded an unrealised gain of ¥121.856 million from the market-value assessment of Bitcoin, but this turned into an unrealised loss in the current fiscal year. ANAP announced the launch of its Bitcoin business in June 2025, and the financial results include a note regarding the going-concern assumption.
