Tokyo Electron Device Limited has entered into a sales agency agreement to begin selling Vanta, a GRC automation platform provided by US-based Vanta Inc., in Japan. Sales are scheduled to begin on 11 September 2026, and the company is preparing a support structure for the Japanese market.
Vanta aims to reduce the burden associated with obtaining and maintaining certifications such as ISMS and SOC 2 by automating tasks including evidence collection, audit preparation, vendor risk management and responses to security questionnaires. For the Japanese market, the company will also provide Japanese-language functionality, inquiry support and operational assistance services.
TED has stated that it will strengthen its Japanese-language inquiry desk and implementation support services, while expanding collaboration with partner companies that support certification efforts. Founded in 2018, Vanta is a trust-building platform currently used by companies in more than 58 countries.
The agreement is expected to strengthen collaboration between TED and Vanta and could support trust-building among Japanese companies and the growth of their global businesses. As efforts related to information security and compliance advance, the number of Vanta implementation cases is expected to increase.
