富士ソフト and エクセディ announced a collaboration on integrated AMR control. The combination of MixFlit and Neibo will support the automation of in-plant transport through both hardware and software.
富士ソフト (Naka Ward, Yokohama) entered into a distributor agreement with エクセディ (Neyagawa, Osaka Prefecture) to offer its “MixFlit” fleet control management system in combination with エクセディ's AMR, “Neibo.” MixFlit integrates and controls different AMRs, existing equipment and higher-level systems on a single platform.
Under the agreement, エクセディ will be able to support mixed operation of its own AMRs by combining Neibo with MixFlit. The system can connect up to 50 AMRs and manage multiple units on a single screen, while transport routes can be changed through a web interface.
Implementation is available in as little as 2 months after an initial consultation, and the system also supports operational verification using 3D simulations. Standard connected units include Neibo, Preferred Robotics' kachaka Pro and Keigan's KeiganALI. Licensing is ¥6 million upfront or ¥180,000 per month, excluding tax.
Going forward, the companies will pursue joint market development through trade shows and seminars and expand the range of AMRs, equipment and higher-level systems that can connect to MixFlit.
