鋭澤’s order backlog reached NT$3 billion at the end of the first half, a new record. Large-scale projects in Japan and the US are expected to enter the execution and revenue-recognition stages sequentially from the second half, with the economies of scale from its international expansion expected to emerge gradually.
鋭澤, which provides gas supply systems for high-tech factories, saw its order backlog approach NT$3 billion in the first half of this year, reaching a record high. Large-scale projects in Japan and the US are expected to enter the execution and revenue-recognition stages sequentially from the second half, with the economies of scale from its international expansion expected to become increasingly apparent.
Large-scale projects and turnkey contracts account for most orders in overseas markets. 鋭澤 is strengthening its competitiveness in winning large-scale projects by integrating the group’s resources and coordinating engineering design, facility construction, process supply systems, project management and local supply chains.
To capture the global semiconductor expansion cycle, 鋭澤 is stepping up investment in the operations and staffing of its overseas entities in Japan and the US, as well as in the development of local supply chains. Overseas projects tend to be larger than its Taiwan-based business, but the company’s policy is to offset initial costs while maintaining financial soundness.
The expansion of investment in the global semiconductor industry is viewed as a factor supporting the company’s growth. ECD and PCD, green-process equipment products, are scheduled to begin testing at a major memory manufacturer in 3Q. If verification proceeds smoothly, adoption could expand and lead to additional orders.
