フジオーゼックス announced its consolidated earnings outlook for the fiscal year ending March 2027, stating that net income is expected to be ¥1.8 billion, down 14% from the previous fiscal year. The previous forecast was for a 21% decline to ¥1.7 billion, but the final decline is now expected to be narrower, while the revenue forecast was revised upward by ¥1.2 billion from the previous forecast to ¥29.2 billion. Sales of its core automotive engine valves are expected to increase, with domestic and North American sales expected to remain firm. Sales to China, however, are expected to be weak.
Results announced the same day for the April–September 2026 period showed revenue of ¥14.5 billion, up 3% year on year, and net income of ¥1.1 billion, up 22%. Based on these figures, the outlook for the fiscal year ending March 2027 was revised upward.
Amid sluggish sales to China, contributions from gains on the sale of fixed assets and other factors are understood to be narrowing the deviation of the overall profit outlook from the previous forecast.
