Ichiyoshi Securities revised upward its earnings forecast for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027, raising consolidated ordinary profit to ¥4.01 billion, or 2.1 times the previous year. It also plans to raise the interim dividend from ¥38 to ¥42, while the second-half dividend remains undecided.
On 19 October, Ichiyoshi Securities announced a revision to its earnings forecast for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027, indicating that consolidated ordinary profit was expected to reach ¥4.01 billion, or 2.1 times the previous year. It also announced that the interim dividend for the current fiscal year would be raised from the previous plan of ¥38 to ¥42.
The main reasons cited for the revision were steady growth in fund wrap and investment trust assets, an increase in the cost coverage ratio, progress in shifting to a stock-based business model, and a substantial increase in fees from beneficiary certificates, which provide stable revenue. These factors led to a substantial increase in operating revenue.
