HP Japan will launch the “Independent Research with an AI PC” campaign today to promote AI PCs. The campaign supports seniors as they take on new challenges using AI PCs and is positioned as an expanded version of the “Start the person you want to be” concept.
The participants are 3 store staff members with an average age of 70 or older. The campaign will be conducted as a collaborative project with G-CHA & Ba-CHA in Shibuya, where they will undertake independent research based on their own experiences and curiosity using AI PCs. Their creative process will be shared via official social media, and their completed works will be exhibited at the store for a limited time in early September.
The device used is the HP OmniBook X Flip 14 AI PC, which features an NPU designed for AI and machine-learning workloads. It supports tasks such as writing and image generation, helping participants turn their ideas into reality.
The campaign will be rolled out through official social media, the store and HP's official X account, formerly Twitter. An X giveaway will also be held, with 1 winner selected by lottery to receive an “HP OmniBook X Flip 14 AI PC.”
The campaign runs from 6 August to early September, and an exhibition of the completed works is scheduled to take place at the Shibuya store in early September.
