Comture built a human resources data platform for Kubota that consolidates previously distributed HR data on Microsoft Azure. The platform promotes data utilisation by enabling data visualisation and analysis while strengthening security and internal controls.
Comture built a human resources data platform that consolidates Kubota's HR data from multiple systems on Azure. This established the foundation for centralised data management and future use of Data & AI, creating a framework to support data-driven decision-making.
HR data had been distributed across multiple systems, creating governance challenges involving viewing controls and the management of access logs. The platform enables diverse data integration, including real-time connectivity, as well as row-level viewing controls and audit-trail management, while meeting operational security requirements.
The project's results include more efficient data utilisation, support for decision-making, and stronger security and governance. In addition to visualisation through BI and reports, appropriate viewing permissions have been set for each user, establishing a framework that meets internal control requirements. Going forward, Comture plans to apply its data platform design expertise to other areas and continue supporting customers' use of data.
Kubota considers that the foundation for the data platform was established through Comture's careful support at each phase of requirements definition and construction, as well as its ability to accommodate diverse integration methods. Kubota has indicated its intention to further promote the use of HR data by leveraging the platform that has been established.
