The Niitsu Marugoto Railway Festa will be held on 10 October in Akiha Ward, Niigata City, with tours and hands-on events at the 総合車両製作所 Niitsu Plant and around Niitsu Station.
The Niitsu Railway Festa is scheduled for Saturday, 10 October, from 10:00 to 15:30. Events will be held at multiple locations, including the 総合車両製作所 Niitsu Plant and the east plaza of Niitsu Station.
The main activities include moving train car bodies by crane, displaying completed train cars, hands-on operation of railway models, mini-train rides, ekiben sales, and retail and food stalls. Information on paid shuttle buses around Niitsu Station is also available, and some areas may require an admission ticket.
The 6th National Railway Resources Revitalization Summit in Niitsu will be held concurrently on the same day, with free admission. The summit is operated with the involvement of the commerce and tourism section and others, and contact information is provided.
