TSE Growth Market 250 Index futures are expected to decline before the opening. Selling is expected to lead from the morning, amid weaker US stocks and higher oil prices.
TSE Growth Market 250 Index futures are expected to decline today. In the latest US stock market session, the Dow average fell from the previous weekend and the Nasdaq also posted a sharp decline, so selling may lead into the morning.
In the US stock market on the 16th, the Dow average ended trading down $175.28 from the previous weekend at $52,002.41, while the Nasdaq fell 572.99 points to 26,140.04. FRB Chair Warsh did not suggest the possibility of a rate hike, and expectations for a rate hike at the October FOMC were reported to have receded, spreading caution across the market.
Some analysts believe the decline in the Growth Market may be relatively limited because it is primarily domestically focused, but factors including trends in AI-related stocks and oil prices require attention. The upper limit of the daily chart's Ichimoku cloud at 749 points and the minus-2-sigma Bollinger Band level at 748 points are cited as potential support levels.
Overnight Growth Market futures ended at 760 points, down 8 points from the previous day's daytime close. The upside level is projected at 765 points and the downside level at 745 points.
