ANA Holdings' aircraft maintenance expertise will be combined with アイネット's experience in satellite development to develop a training programme aimed at developing talent for the space industry. The 5-day programme will include 4 days of practical training, is expected to accommodate up to 10 participants and is undergoing a proof of concept ahead of a launch planned for fiscal 2027 or later.
ANA Group and アイネット have been revealed to be collaborating on the development of a training programme aimed at developing talent for the space industry. The two companies will share on-site expertise in aircraft maintenance and artificial satellites, with the aim of raising the capabilities of the industry as a whole through talent development in the space sector.
Based on the principles of aircraft maintenance training, the programme aims to develop personnel who pursue quality through accurate knowledge and sound judgment. It will consist of 5 days centred on practical training and will include content tailored to on-site satellite manufacturing and inspection work.
The training will cover hands-on tasks such as satellite assembly and harness installation, with the aim of developing basic skills applicable to satellites ranging from several hundred kilograms to the tonne class. It is designed as level 1-equivalent training, in which participants perform tasks with support from more senior personnel.
The companies will continue to conduct demonstrations of their collaboration to strengthen the satellite supply chain, while also considering company-specific customised programmes, shortened versions and the development of advanced training materials. With a formal launch from fiscal 2027 onward in view, emphasis is being placed on a mechanism for passing on on-site expertise as practical know-how.
