セキド will hold the free demonstration event “Sekido Agricultural Solutions Festival: Winter Edition.” Starting in Saga Prefecture on 11 November, the event will introduce the use of smart farming equipment through demonstrations and explanations in 6 prefectures nationwide: Kagoshima, Saitama, Fukushima, Nagano and Niigata, in addition to Saga.
セキド will hold a free demonstration event showcasing smart farming solutions that support labor savings and greater efficiency, including agricultural drones, sensing technology, seed treatment equipment, automatic grass cutters and leveling systems. The first event will be held in Saga Prefecture on 11 November, followed by events in Kagoshima, Saitama, Fukushima, Nagano and Niigata prefectures, for a total of 6 prefectures.
At each venue, the equipment used and its applications will be explained for each stage of the process, including the collection and analysis of field data, land leveling, seed coating, and direct seeding and variable-rate fertilization using drones. The event will demonstrate specifically how multiple technologies can be combined and incorporated into actual operations, rather than simply introducing the functions of individual devices.
Participation is free, and each venue is limited to 30 people. The event is intended to provide agricultural corporations, producers and prospective users at agriculture-related businesses with an opportunity to develop a systematic understanding while viewing the actual equipment.
