Kitakyushu City’s “AI and Digital Skills Course to Expand Your Second Career” has reached capacity and applications are closed. The course was scheduled to run for 18 sessions from November 2026 through January 2027, was free of charge and was to be held at 2 venues.
Kitakyushu City had announced the “AI and Digital Skills Course to Expand Your Second Career,” a practical program for people seeking to broaden their future work options and opportunities to participate in the community. The program was designed to provide structured training in practical digital skills, including generative AI and image and video editing, in addition to computer operation and business skills.
However, recruitment for the course closed at approximately 40 participants, and applications are no longer being accepted. Following information sessions and interviews, enrollment guidance was to be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The course was scheduled to run from November 2026 through January 2027, for 18 sessions every Tuesday and Thursday, from 10:30 to 15:30.
