PXG Japan announced the PXG Secret Weapon Mini Driver, featuring a compact 300cc head and a thin face. Designed to increase ball speed and reduce shot dispersion, it includes an adjustable weighting system and is available for ¥88,000 including tax at PXG retail stores, authorised retailers and PXG Online.
PXG Japan announced the PXG Secret Weapon Mini Driver on 22 October 2026. Combining a compact 300cc head with a thinner face and an improved internal sole structure, the model is designed to increase ball speed and reduce shot dispersion.
The new model incorporates technology used in the PXG Lightning series. The face is more than 4% thinner than that of the previous generation, increasing flex at impact and improving energy-transfer efficiency. Engineers used FEA to optimise the internal sole, reallocating excess weight to the perimeter of the head to increase MOI. The use of a carbon-fibre crown also positions the weight lower and farther back.
Comments from PXG tour professionals and the head of research and development explain that integrating the thin face with the sole structure improves stability on off-centre hits.
