フクシマガリレイ has launched the horizontal thawing cabinet “QDW-09DMTX,” which uses non-fluorocarbon refrigerant R1234yf. The launch date is 15 October 2026, and the company is targeting annual sales of 500 units.
フクシマガリレイ株式会社 announced the launch of the horizontal thawing cabinet “QDW-09DMTX,” which uses non-fluorocarbon refrigerant R1234yf, a refrigerant with a low global warming potential. R1234yf has a low GWP, and the company is promoting the transition to alternative refrigerants as part of its Sustainable Vision. The refrigerant circuit is designed to reduce the risk of refrigerant gas leaks by reducing the number of welded joints and adopting a microchannel condenser.
The unit's horizontal design allows the top panel to be used as a work surface, making efficient use of kitchen space. It also features an internal drying mode, and the interior can be thoroughly washed, helping maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.
The thawing function uses a two-step, high-quality thawing process. Rapid thawing at a high temperature is used during the initial high-temperature stage, after which the unit switches to low-temperature thawing once the surface temperature rises. After thawing, it automatically switches to cooling mode to preserve freshness and prevent operating errors. The model is QDW-09DMTX, with external dimensions of W900×D750×H800mm, an effective capacity of 173L, a weight of 85kg and a single-phase 100V power supply.
The launch date is 15 October 2026, and the annual target sales volume is 500 units. Key target customers include various food-service outlets, bento shops and supermarkets. The standard price is listed as open.
