American Express will issue cards featuring the Mirror Design in Japan for a limited time. The eligible cards are the Platinum Card and the American Express Business Platinum Card, and the issuance fee will be ¥7,700 (including tax). This is the first rollout outside the United States, with Japan serving as the first expansion market.
Applications will be accepted from 1:00 p.m. on 30 September through 1 February 2027. Existing holders of either card may switch under the applicable conditions, although an issuance fee will apply.
