Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus is digitizing the operation of its used-truck auctions using Salesforce cloud products. The new system will go live in April 2026, improving aggregation efficiency and moving operations online.
TerraSky built Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus's used-truck auction system using Salesforce Experience Cloud and Sales Cloud. It digitized operations that had relied on paper, fax and spreadsheet software, speeding up notification of winning bids and centralizing information management.
The previous auction operation, conducted by regional sales divisions at 4 locations nationwide, is being moved to a new system designed for online operation. The system is intended to speed up notifications to customers and standardize operations, while establishing a foundation for data use.
Following the new system's launch in April 2026, time spent on aggregation will be reduced, with automation of the transcription and aggregation of bid amounts cutting the workload. Customers will have greater convenience through online viewing of information and images of vehicles offered for sale and the introduction of online bidding procedures.
The initiative will centralize customer participation status and bidding trends, enabling the company to track market trends nationwide. There are plans to use accumulated data in procurement and sales activities going forward, and TerraSky will continue promoting digital transformation, including the use of AI.
