Against the backdrop of a succession issue and a growth strategy, the companies aim to expand their businesses by combining their automation and manufacturing technologies.
機電株式会社, based in Takatsuki, Osaka Prefecture, designs and manufactures industrial labor-saving machinery, including inspection equipment, thermal furnaces and conveying equipment, and has built its strengths on many years of technical expertise and proposal capabilities. Ｍ＆Ａキャピタルパートナーズ arranged the transfer between 機電株式会社 and JRC Co.,Ltd., based in Osaka, and the transaction was completed.
The seller, 機電株式会社, explained that it is pursuing business succession with a view to the future, against the backdrop of the absence of a successor and challenges in recruiting personnel. The acquirer, JRC Co.,Ltd., indicated that it plans to create synergies with 機電株式会社's automation and heat-treatment technologies and manufacturing expertise as part of efforts to strengthen its robot systems integration business.
Going forward, the companies will consider combining 機電株式会社's technology in labor-saving machinery with JRC Co.,Ltd.'s robot systems integration technology, as well as collaborating on recruitment. Through cooperation between the two companies, they aim to achieve growth for both businesses.
