Saitama City-based surveying and inspection company スカイブリッジ is expanding nationwide and overseas by leveraging its strengths in 3D surveying and drone inspections. Co-Representative Kobayashi Hayato (小林隼人) spoke of his intention to bring the company’s work to the world from Saitama.
Based in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture, スカイブリッジ has earned customers’ trust as a company that handles the entire process, from acquiring 3D surveying data to conducting drone inspections. The business is operated by its co-representative and younger brother, Masato (将人), and the company has indicated that it plans to expand nationwide from Saitama.
The company is currently focused on four core areas: 3D surveying, drone inspections, data utilization, and support for in-house implementation. Describing the possibilities for data utilization as endless, the company provides not only outsourced drone inspections but also “automated drone flight inspections,” which support customers in bringing inspections in-house, and on-site training through the “Skybridge Drone School.”
As the company overcame the difficulties of developing new customers, a meeting with a trading company employee became the catalyst for expanding customer development nationwide and overseas. It acquired several dozen customers, including in Taiwan, and aims to accelerate its overseas expansion as consultations on large-scale business opportunities increase.
As a Saitama company, it places greater emphasis on possessing cutting-edge technologies and putting them into practical use in the field than on becoming a large company. Going forward, it plans to develop drones and software in-house, strengthening job creation and its efforts to bring its work to the world.
