Consolidated ordinary profit for the six months ended August 2027 (March–August) was ¥25.1 billion, up 6.0% year on year, reversing the previous forecast for a decline in profit to a forecast increase. Revenue showed significant growth from the previous fiscal year.
The company raised its full-year ordinary profit forecast from the previous ¥36.5 billion to ¥44.2 billion and expects profit to increase approximately 12.8% from the previous fiscal year. For the second half, consolidated ordinary profit for September–February is estimated at ¥19.0 billion, up 23.1% year on year.
In the latest June–August period, ordinary profit increased 10.1% year on year to ¥14.6 billion. The operating margin on sales declined from 19.5% to 18.8%.
The annual dividend for the current fiscal year was increased from the previous plan of ¥220 to ¥245, supporting the outlook for a sixth consecutive fiscal year of record-high profit.
