株式会社かんざし and Streaming House Co., Ltd. are launching SOTOWORK, a workation service for businesses and individuals, and will hold a study tour of South Korea as an opening event aimed at regional revitalisation through Japan–South Korea exchange.
株式会社かんざし is launching the new SOTOWORK brand and will expand into the Japanese market by drawing on its operational expertise in workation programmes in South Korea. In South Korea, it is working with its investee company Streaming House Co., Ltd., with which it entered into a business alliance through a capital investment in October 2025.
To mark the launch of SOTOWORK, the company plans to hold a study tour of South Korea for representatives of Japanese companies and local governments, as well as digital nomads. The tour aims to promote exchanges between Japanese and South Korean companies and foster a related population connected to local communities.
The tour will visit Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea, and provide participants with an opportunity to learn about regional revitalisation through workation and local government initiatives. It will run from 29 September to 2 October 2026 for 3 nights and 4 days. Participation is open to corporate and organisational representatives, local government representatives and digital nomads, with capacity limited to 20 people. The tour is fully funded, including airfare, accommodation, meals and participation fees for local experiences.
The tour will be operated by 株式会社かんざし and Streaming House, with the Korea Tourism Organization, Chungcheongnam-do and the Chungcheongnam-do Culture and Tourism Foundation serving as partner organisations. The programme will include a South Korea workation seminar, hands-on activities, local experiences and office visits.
