A report from a Korean brokerage said that rising production at memory makers is creating tailwinds for equipment suppliers and is expected to drive wider adoption of low-humidity environmental control solutions.
A report from a major Korean brokerage said Jastech's expanded sales of JFS, centered on nitrogen-purge technology, and third-generation JDM will support both continued operations at existing fabs and the ramp-up of new fabs. Supplies to Micron and Samsung Electronics were cited as track records, with JFS's contribution to revenue said to be steadily increasing.
JFS can be installed as an addition to existing nitrogen-purge equipment and keeps humidity inside FOUPs below 1%. As a second-generation solution, its mass-production deployment is expanding at Micron, while supplies to Samsung Electronics are moving toward full-scale rollout. Revenue increased from the first to the second quarter of 2026, contributing to the semiconductor business as a whole remaining at elevated levels.
JDM directly dehumidifies the inside of EFEMs, keeping humidity there at 5% or below and humidity inside FOUPs at 1% or below. The new function is currently expected to move from evaluation toward practical implementation. Several new fab projects are scheduled to begin construction or operations, and full-scale supply is expected from the second half of next year onward.
Growth in the large memory market is also providing a tailwind. With the NAND market expanding and DRAM prices continuing to rise, demand for equipment suppliers remains high, and the report said earnings visibility for 2026–2027 is strong.
