Infomart has announced its new Data Conversion Support service to advance the digitization of invoices. It explains in detail how the service aims to shift practical processes that remain paper- or PDF-based toward data-driven operations.
Infomart plans to establish a new Horizontal Business Division in 2026 alongside a change in president, with the aim of driving back-office digital transformation across industries. The organization will cut across the company’s existing vertical divisions serving the food and construction industries, strengthening its data-driven expansion.
The company has also launched the Data Conversion Support service. This BPO-style service converts invoice data and provides hands-on support for digitizing exchanges that remain paper- or PDF-based. It is designed around data integration close to “DtoD,” eliminating manual work while improving accuracy and real-time processing.
Infomart explained that more than 1.3 million companies already use its BtoB Platform Invoice, but that digitizing residual transactions outside the platform can reduce input errors and transcription work when PDFs are received. It emphasized that data conversion enables direct integration with accounting systems.
While continuing to provide AI-OCR on an OEM basis, the company said that using issuer-side data to enable digital processing at the line-item level would reduce business partners’ compliance burden, including their need to comply with Japan’s Electronic Books Preservation Act. It also cited lower costs for issuers and reduced disaster risk as benefits of digitization.
