The operating period for Goldcrest Stadium Kamakura has been extended to 30 September 2027, while discussions with the parties concerned continue and the policy for 2027 onward remains undecided. At the same time, information on potential land for relocation is being sought widely.
The Kamakura Sports Commission, a general incorporated association operating Goldcrest Stadium Kamakura, and the site's primary landowner have agreed to extend the land lease, extending the operating period to 30 September 2027. Discussions with the parties concerned on future operations are continuing.
Operations from October 2027 onward have not been determined at this time, and the organisation says it will provide an update once its policy has been decided.
The organisation is seeking information widely on potential relocation sites, targeting land of approximately 4,000–10,000 m² in Kamakura City or surrounding areas. A full or half court is envisaged, and information will be accepted through the official enquiry form.
The aim is to secure a new base of operations. While calling for cooperation, the organisation says it seeks to carry the connections among local residents and the vitality created through sport into the future.
