Kotobukiya's M.S.G Modeling Support Goods line introduces the Active Booster. Its large boosters on the left and right and rear arms can recreate a variety of configurations, and preorders have begun at Rakuten Books.
Kotobukiya has announced Active Booster (MH77), a large unit in Heavy Weapon Unit 77 of the M.S.G Modeling Support Goods line, and preorders are now available at Rakuten Books. It consists of large boosters on the left and right and rear arm units, with a design that makes use of the robot's curved surfaces and is also suited to customizing girl-type characters.
Attaching the unit alone significantly changes the silhouette. The rear arms can be attached to the back or shoulders for use in Booster Mode, and optional parts allow 4 boosters to be attached. Adding the optional fin-shaped articulated fingers transforms it into the giant-arm Brutal Claw Mode, recreating sharp claws. These fins can also be used with other kits via 3 mm joints.
By deploying and folding the various sections, the unit can be configured as a flight-leg Assault Unit Mode that replaces the areas below a girl-type character's thighs, creating a highly mobile style. Multiple 3 mm holes are provided on the underside of the unit, allowing original styles to be assembled in combination with other M.S.G units.
This article is limited to an overview of the design and functions. No specific release date or price is given; it only states that preorders are open.
