Shimano's Sephia BB spinning reel for eging has been launched. The model incorporates features from higher-end models while reducing weight and improving handling.
Shimano has launched the Sephia BB spinning reel specifically designed for eging, equipped with advanced features also found in higher-end models, including Infinity Drive and an Anti-Twist Fin. Its key features include substantially improved winding performance, durability and trouble-free operation.
Infinity Drive and Infinity Cross maintain smooth rotation even during aggressive jerking and fights with large fish. An Anti-Twist Fin is positioned around the line roller to help prevent problems caused by slack in the PE line.
The main shaft is made of aluminum, reducing the weight of the C3000SDH series by 5g from the previous model. A CI4+ body and standard EVA handle knob improve handling, while a Rapid Fire Drag is used for the drag system.
The spool has a shallow specification for PE 0.6 line, 200m, and is designed to be taken into the field without backing line. The lineup comprises 4 models: C3000S/C3000SHG and C3000SDH/C3000SDHHG, with normal gearing of 5.1:1 and high gearing of 5.8:1.
