At the second and third Goldwin Repair Club events, Goldwin collaborated with BELAY株式会社 and カリモク家具株式会社, presenting a new model for keeping products in use longer through cleaning experiences and the upcycling of fabric offcuts.
Goldwin’s Goldwin Repair Club introduced collaborations with companies from other industries as new experiences at its second event in June 2026 and third event in August. Held with the cooperation of BELAY株式会社, the second event taught participants how to clean garments and provide proper care using “Yutakana Mori Kireina Mizu+,” a detergent for outdoor clothing, proposing ways to restore functionality and maintain garments for longer wear.
The third event was the co-creation workshop “Animal Karimoku with Goldwin,” held with カリモク家具株式会社. In the workshop, participants combined furniture and clothing offcuts to create original animals for children, with the aim of promoting sustainability through the effective use of resources and hands-on making.
Each event gave participants the opportunity to clean items and select materials themselves. In addition to learning that could be applied to garment care at home, the events expanded eligibility to include preschool children and other younger participants.
Goldwin has indicated that it will continue a range of initiatives through the club, including collaborations with other companies, using it as a testing ground for supporting the longer life of clothing and everyday goods.
