Japan Pallet Rental (JPR) announced that the number of companies using electronic delivery slips at the Itochu-Shokuhin Sapporo Logistics Center had increased from 15 to 27. The system will begin operating for deliveries made on or after 31 August 2026, with new manufacturers and logistics companies joining the Sapporo center.
Itochu-Shokuhin uses DD Plus, a system for digitizing and sharing delivery slips. Following the start of full-scale operations at the Akishima Logistics Center, operations began at the Sapporo Logistics Center in February 2026. With this announcement, the number of companies using electronic delivery slips at the Sapporo center increased from 15 to 27.
Approximately 100 manufacturers make deliveries to the Sapporo center each day, and the company aims to transition half of them, or approximately 50 companies, to electronic delivery slips by the end of fiscal 2026. It will continue expanding the centers and participating companies, with the aim of optimizing the entire supply chain and achieving sustainable logistics. Newly participating manufacturers include 大森屋, ケンコーマヨネーズ, サンヨー堂, J-OIL MILLS, シマヤ, 寿がきや食品, 東洋水産, ドトールコーヒー, ブルドックソース, 丸美屋フーズ and 桃屋, while the new participating logistics company will be キユーソー流通システム.
The new implementation will apply to deliveries made on or after 31 August 2026. Through the expanded use of electronic delivery slips at the Sapporo Logistics Center, the initiative will promote stronger collaboration among companies and the realization of sustainable logistics.
