GMO NIKKO will launch its new service, “GMO AIO Boost for EC,” for e-commerce businesses on 8 October 2026. The service supports optimization for purchasing by generative AI agents, starting at the proof-of-concept (PoC) stage.
GMO NIKKO, part of the GMO Internet Group, will launch its new e-commerce service, GMO AIO Boost for EC. Dedicated consultants will analyze product information and data structures on e-commerce websites and support optimization for purchasing by AI agents, starting at the proof-of-concept (PoC) stage.
The service is being introduced against the backdrop of advances in generative AI and AI agents. Agentic commerce, in which AI supports consumers with product searches, comparisons and purchases on their behalf, is expected to expand. McKinsey & Company forecasts that AI agents could intermediate $3 trillion to $5 trillion in global consumer transactions by 2030.
The service is designed to organize and structure product names, descriptions, prices, inventory, target customers and other information so that AI agents can accurately identify, compare and recommend products. It is provided as a consulting service, with a standard contract term of 6 months. Pricing is determined after individual consultations.
GMO NIKKO plans to continue researching generative AI and AI agents and to strengthen its support for generative AI optimization (AIO) and agentic commerce initiatives.
