Medius Holdings and Plug and Play Japan will launch “MediGO,” a new community supporting the post-launch market adoption of medical device startups. The launch event will be held on 1 October 2026 and will feature presentations on implementation in clinical settings, startup pitches and networking.
A new community, “MediGO,” will be launched jointly by Medius Holdings and Plug and Play Japan to support the post-launch market adoption of medical device startups. Its aims are to address sales and implementation challenges following regulatory approval, as well as issues involved in supplying products to clinical settings. Medius Holdings will draw on the network and frontline knowledge it has developed as a medical device distributor.
As MediGO’s launch event, “MediGO Kickoff Meetup—Medical Market Gateway—” is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 1 October 2026, at Tokyo Innovation Base. The event will include a special presentation on implementing innovative medical devices in clinical settings, startup pitches, a panel discussion and networking among the speakers.
The initiative is intended to promote post-launch market adoption and will address challenges such as developing sales strategies and opening up distribution channels, which can hinder implementation in clinical settings. The announcement was made by Medius Holdings, and further details on the event and participating companies are expected to be disclosed separately.
