Better Place will share Japan’s financial inclusion initiatives with the world, centered on its Hagu ONE corporate pension DX system. Its representative, Morimoto Shinji (森本 新士), will speak at Financial Inclusion Week 2026, held from 5 to 8 October 2026.
Morimoto Shinji (森本 新士), representative of Better Place, which provides the Hagukumi Corporate Pension, will speak at the global event Financial Inclusion Week 2026. The session is titled “Financial Inclusion for Working People: Workplace Asset Building through Corporate Pension DX.”
The background to the session is that disparities in asset building and anxiety about future finances remain challenges in Japan’s current financial inclusion landscape. Corporate pension adoption among small and medium-sized enterprises is lower among smaller companies, with the adoption rate standing at just 16% among companies with 30–99 employees.
Better Place says it has digitised more than 90% of the implementation process through its Hagu ONE corporate pension DX system. This is expected to reduce the administrative burden on adopting companies and promote asset building through pension funds.
Better Place emphasises the significance of using this speaking opportunity to share Japan’s example with the world and contribute to solving financial inclusion challenges.
