A seminar for KEY COFFEE fan community members will be held on 12 December, offering comparative tastings of coffees with different roast levels and countries of origin. It will give participants an opportunity to discover their preferred flavour profile.
KEY COFFEE has announced that it will hold a members-only coffee seminar, “Comparative Coffee Tasting Seminar: Enjoying the ‘Differences’,” from 10:30 to 12:00 on 12 December (Sunday). The venue is the seminar room on the second floor of KEY COFFEE's head office building in Shinbashi, Tokyo. Capacity is limited to 10 people, and the participation fee is ¥1,980, including tax. Participants will receive a ¥500 coupon usable at their next seminar. The coupon is valid through 31 January 2027 and may be used for seminar reservations through the April sessions.
The previous April event was the “Comparative Coffee Tasting Seminar: Enjoy Coffee with Five Brewing Devices,” where participants experienced how different equipment affects the flavour of the same coffee. This seminar will likewise focus on differences in roast level and country of origin, with the aim of helping participants identify their own flavour preferences, such as acidity and body.
The curriculum includes a lecture on differences in coffee flavour, how to identify one's preferred taste, comparative tastings of various coffees, and an introduction to ways of enjoying coffee. It is intended for people who want to experience differences in coffee flavour and those interested in attending a seminar for the first time, including beginners who want to understand differences between origins.
A “Hand-Drip Experience” seminar will also be held that day from 14:00 to 15:30, and reservations for both seminars are being offered. Reservations are accepted through the dedicated page at the link.
