Sankei Real Estate Investment Corporation will sell Fukuoka Green Building for ¥5.5 billion. Following the sale decision, it revised its earnings forecasts for the 15th and 16th fiscal periods and provided its distribution outlook.
Sankei Real Estate Investment Corporation has decided to sell Fukuoka Green Building in Sawara Ward, Fukuoka City. The property is an office building completed in 1996. Following Hitachi, Ltd.'s departure in September 2026, delays in renovation work and leasing are cited as factors behind a decline in revenue. The sale price is ¥5.5 billion, and the buyer has not been disclosed. The company also revised its earnings forecast for the 15th fiscal period in connection with the sale.
For the 15th fiscal period, the fiscal year ending August 2026, profit is expected to be 0.34% higher than the previously announced forecast due to lower repair expenses and interest expenses. The distribution per unit is expected to be ¥3,681.
For the 16th fiscal period, the fiscal year ending February 2027, the company expects to record ¥288 million in gains on the sale of Fukuoka Green Building. Profit is expected to be approximately 89.6% higher than the previous forecast due to lower repair expenses, and the distribution per unit is expected to be ¥2,071. The distribution level is therefore expected to fluctuate.
