Swiss luxury watch brand Zenith has announced 2 Japan-exclusive models. Based on the “Chronomaster Open,” they are special editions for the Japanese market combining market-specific materials and colors, including straps made with denim from Okayama Prefecture.
Zenith has unveiled 2 models of the “Chronomaster Open Japan Edition” as special editions for the Japanese market. The stainless steel model combines a blue gradient dial with mother-of-pearl counters and comes with a Japan-made strap using denim from Okayama Prefecture. The 18K rose gold model features brown-toned counters and an alligator strap, along with a denim strap from Okayama Prefecture dyed to match the case.
The series is the fourth model developed for the Japanese market. Following the “Defy,” “Chronomaster Sport” and “Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar,” it is based on the “Chronomaster Open,” a popular model in Japan, and incorporates materials and colors developed specifically for the Japanese market. It is powered by the El Primero 3604 automatic movement, allowing the regulator and escapement to be viewed through the opening.
