Partner Agent has begun accepting entries for the 13th Marriage-Seeking Senryu Competition, with entries accepted from 8 October to 22 November 2026. The winning entries will be announced on the designated page and in a press release on 15 December 2026.
Tameny Inc., which operates Partner Agent, began accepting entries on 8 October for the 13th Marriage-Seeking Senryu Competition. The entertainment campaign invites 5-7-5 senryu poems on the themes of marriage-seeking and dating, and is open not only to people seeking a marriage partner but also to people who are married and those supporting them.
The application guidelines state that entries must be original, previously unpublished works. There is no limit on the number of entries, and up to 3 works may be submitted per application. Entries will be accepted from Thursday, 8 October 2026 to Sunday, 22 November 2026, and the URL for the designated page is scheduled to be provided at a later date.
The prizes are Amazon gift cards worth ¥30,000 for first place, ¥20,000 for second place and ¥10,000 for third place. The results are scheduled to be announced on the designated page and official X account on 15 December 2026. Eligibility is conditional on agreeing to the “Application Precautions”; whether applicants are seeking a marriage partner is irrelevant.
