TEAC's AP-10 SD player for commercial spaces has been launched. It is designed to enable automatic playback through integration with external equipment, supporting the automation of announcements and background or event audio.
The AP-10 programmable announcement SD player for commercial spaces will be launched. It integrates with external equipment and control systems to enable automatic audio playback and the output of control signals based on playback status, with the aim of improving operating efficiency at commercial facilities, exhibition venues and theme parks.
The unit is a 1U half-rack 2-channel SD player. Playback can be automated by linking peripheral equipment via GPIO or LAN, while the ducking function suppresses background music during announcements to improve intelligibility.
OSC support enables flexible integration with external control systems and custom applications, supporting remote operation from tablets and integrated control of video and lighting equipment.
The player supports the free TASCAM Playlist Editor software, which allows playlists to be managed and files to be converted and edited. It also offers a choice of 5 playback modes.
