髙島屋 reported its interim results for the fiscal year ending February 2027, with operating revenue, equivalent to sales, of ¥244.131 billion and operating profit of ¥27.521 billion, representing year-on-year increases in both revenue and profit. Interim net profit attributable to owners of the parent was ¥16.014 billion, down year on year.

The full-year earnings forecasts were revised upward. Operating revenue was raised from the previous forecast of ¥503.0 billion to ¥509.1 billion, while operating profit was raised from ¥57.5 billion to ¥59.0 billion. The forecast for net profit attributable to owners of the parent was left unchanged at ¥38.0 billion.
The interim and year-end dividends were left unchanged at ¥22 each, while the interim dividend per share was increased by ¥2 from the previous forecast, resulting in an annual dividend forecast of ¥44.
髙島屋 also announced on the same day a company split to establish 髙島屋ファイナンシャル・ホールディングス, with plans to strengthen governance by centralising strategy planning and management oversight for its financial business.
The initiative to strengthen the financial business includes expanding customer touchpoints centred on credit cards, as well as expanding the life-partner and investment and lending businesses. Going forward, the company aims to deepen coordination between financial services and its existing businesses, centred on the intermediate holding company, and develop new services and revenue opportunities.
