Kanadevia's consolidated revenue for April–September 2026 increased year on year to ¥298.5 billion. Net income was ¥5 billion, compared with a net loss of ¥5.5 billion in the same period a year earlier. Operating loss was ¥3.5 billion, while ¥12 billion in extraordinary gains, including a gain on the transfer of the all-solid-state battery business, was recognized.
The environmental business grew, mainly overseas, but delays in plant construction caused by heightened tensions in the Middle East and an increase in selling, general and administrative expenses weighed on operating income and contributed to the operating loss.
For the full fiscal year ending March 2027, the company forecasts revenue of ¥640 billion and operating income of ¥23 billion. Although the forecast incorporates lower profitability due to delays in some overseas environmental projects, the company expects a large number of projects in the second half and expects to maintain operating profit growth. With foreign exchange losses also expected to improve, the company maintained its previous net income forecast of ¥21 billion.
