An IP mixer subsidiary has launched a handmade-in-Japan iron single-handle soup pot in Taiwan and Hong Kong as the second collaboration between popular Taiwanese culinary creator KAZU and 藤田金属. It plans to strengthen its overseas brand through a product series.
IP mixer operates a business supporting overseas expansion by matching companies with overseas influencers. This initiative is the second project in a series that provides end-to-end production, from developing collaborative products combining Japanese manufacturers with popular influencers and building awareness to promoting local sales.
The product is an uncoated pure-iron pot made in Japan. Its deep-sided design allows ingredients to be browned for added aroma before simmering them into a rich, deeply flavored soup. It can be used for a range of cooking methods, including baking, stir-frying, simmering and boiling. It also features product recommendations tailored to local fans’ preferences and proprietary treatment at the time of shipment, allowing it to be used immediately upon delivery.
The product will be sold only in Taiwan, including the main island and outlying islands, and Hong Kong, in limited quantities through e-commerce sites. Sales are scheduled to begin shipping on a rolling basis from 14 September 2026, with promotional activities expected to leverage local influence.
As a result of the first collaboration, the 万用鐵鍋, which went on sale in Taiwan in 2025, sold approximately 3,300 units within one month of the start of order-taking, leading to its being offered again in Taiwan and Hong Kong. The second collaboration is also expected to support ongoing product development using the same IP.
