The “Hokkaido Tokachi Fair,” hosted by dairy-industry stakeholders from the Tokachi area of Hokkaido, opened on the 16th at MILK LAND HOKKAIDO→TOKYO in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo.
During the event, visitors can taste 3 types of milk from the Tokachi area and take part in a “milking experience” using a life-size dairy cow model. Lunch sets featuring local ingredients will also be available during the month.
The event was jointly held for the first time by Tokachi dairy farmers, the Hokuren Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives and others. Kato Michihiro (加藤 道博), a dairy farmer from Obihiro, said he hoped people would pick up safe, reliable and delicious Hokkaido milk.
