At the Fujioka Festival venue in Fujioka, Gunma Prefecture, held at the parking lot of Gunma Bank's Fujioka Branch, the Gunma Provincial Cooperation Office of the Japan Self-Defense Forces set up a booth, displaying a 1/2-ton light truck and offering uniform try-on experiences and various information sessions.
The Takasaki Regional Office of the Gunma Provincial Cooperation Office participated in the Fujioka Festival held in Fujioka City on 27 September 2026 (Sunday), introducing the activities of the Japan Self-Defense Forces to visitors. Although the sky was overcast, many people attended the event.
With support from the 12th Logistics Support Unit, a 1/2-ton light truck was displayed at the venue, along with try-on experiences for uniforms and camouflage clothing and information sessions on various activities. Visitors expressed their enjoyment of trying on children's uniforms.
The Gunma Provincial Cooperation Office of the Japan Self-Defense Forces is recruiting personnel for the Ground, Maritime and Air Self-Defense Forces and advised anyone interested to consult their nearest recruiting office. The event concluded successfully, with visitors enjoying the hands-on experiences.
