PCA CORPORATION will offer the course "Year-End Tax Adjustment Practical Workshop 2026" for practitioners responsible for year-end tax adjustments from 13 October 2026. The instructor is Oshio Kiyomi (鴛尾清美) of Brain Consulting Office, who will explain the subject from the basics through the key revisions for 2026 and teach practical responses through case exercises.
Year-end tax adjustments for 2026 include several revisions, such as increases in the basic deduction and employment income deduction, a review of the income requirements for dependent relatives, a review of the life insurance premium deduction, and a special provision deeming withholding tax certificates to have been submitted. The formats of year-end tax adjustment documents will also change. The course will provide a detailed explanation of these revisions and the year-end tax adjustment process.
The exercises cover practical cases such as mid-year hires, life insurance premiums, dependent relatives and the special deduction for loans relating to a dwelling. Participants will deepen their understanding by performing calculations themselves that they would normally leave to payroll software. The course will be delivered on demand and can be viewed any number of times during the period.
The course is expected to take 4 hours in total. The fee is ¥17,600 for members and ¥34,100 for non-members. Applications are open from 13 October 2026 until 17:00 on 29 January 2027, and the application page is an external link.
