日本管財環境サービス held “GATA-FUMI in KASHIMA 2026,” an activity combining a tour of the Kashima Water Reclamation Center, whose operations management is contracted to the company, with environmental learning. The activity conveyed the importance of protecting mudflat ecosystems and the aquatic environment. A total of 28 employees and family members participated, entering the mudflat for a “mudflat trampling” experience and learning how stepping on the mud introduces oxygen into the soil and helps create an environment suitable for living organisms. Photographs also show the site and the learning activities.
Nanaura Tidal Flat is an area certified by the national government as a Nature Coexistence Site. A diverse range of species has been identified there, and the area is positioned as a local resource for ecosystem conservation. The event was intended to show participants how the local natural environment is connected to their everyday work, and continued environmental activities are also being considered.
