Ingredients created through collaboration between agriculture and welfare services will be offered as limited-time special menus at employee cafeterias in government offices. The offering will run from 19 October through 30 October 2026.
SANKO MARKETING FOODS announced that it will offer limited-time special menus featuring ingredients produced through agriculture-welfare collaboration at employee cafeterias in government offices, including the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' A-Fu Cafeteria. The offering will run from Monday, 19 October through Friday, 30 October 2026.
The fair aims to raise awareness of and promote noufuku, or collaboration between the agriculture and welfare sectors, which supports the social participation of people working in those fields through food. At the Ministry of Justice's Kasumigaseki 1-chome Cafeteria, part of the sales proceeds will also be donated to a fund supporting people rebuilding their lives.
The products include noufuku curry with Han no Ki Farm hamburg steak and Halloween gratin with butternut squash. Each will be served as a menu item combining ingredients produced through agriculture-welfare collaboration. The rice will be Akita Komachi from Akita Prefecture, while the meat will include Han no Ki pork, with ingredients from several agriculture-welfare collaboration facilities also scheduled to be used.
Before the event, the company will visit Teijin Soleil's Pole Pole Farm Abiko Farm to learn about challenges and initiatives at the production site, as part of efforts to convey the background behind the ingredients. The event outline lists the participating cafeterias, terms of use and whether people other than government employees may use them.
