First Value and L&F, operator of Japan Vacant House Support, have begun a business alliance. They will establish an integrated system supporting everything from the management and sale of vacant houses to Buddhist altar memorial services and the removal of items left behind.
Ikkyudo of First Value and L&F’s Japan Vacant House Support have begun mutual cooperation, aiming to establish a one-stop system to address the challenges of owning, managing and disposing of vacant houses located far from their owners. The companies say they aim to contribute to resolving the social issue of vacant houses by leveraging their respective strengths.
The alliance will establish a system under which referrals from L&F to Ikkyudo provide one-stop end-of-life services, including memorial services for Buddhist altars, mortuary tablets and household Shinto altars, grave closures and the removal of items left behind, through to lawful disposal. Conversely, referrals from Ikkyudo to L&F will cover consultations on patrol management, sale and utilisation of vacant houses.
Going forward, the companies plan to establish an uninterrupted support line covering everything from clearing out family homes and memorial services for Buddhist and Shinto objects through to subsequent real estate management and sales, and to continue providing solutions that contribute to regional vacant-house measures and revitalisation.
