トライアイズ has announced a policy of pursuing serial M&A targeting long-established companies, using ¥4.8 billion in liquid assets. The company is looking ahead to expanding the scale of future acquisitions, centered on more advanced use of AI and its concept of serving as a curator of the capital markets.
As of 2026, トライアイズ will use ¥4.8 billion in liquid assets, comprising ¥2.7 billion in cash and deposits and ¥2.1 billion in real estate held for sale, as investment assets. Its targets are expected to be companies with more than 50 years of operating history, revenue of at least ¥1 billion, and an acquisition price of approximately ¥500 million to ¥3 billion.
The company has set out a policy of pursuing serial M&A primarily using its own funds for the time being. Over the longer term, it plans to use bank borrowings and LBOs to expand its targets to companies with revenue of approximately ¥30 billion and an acquisition price of approximately ¥5 billion.
The company will advance initiatives to use AI to enhance corporate value, with AI supporting the process from sourcing opportunities and making investment decisions to analyzing post-acquisition issues and formulating management plans. It is also considering introducing physical AI and drones at operating sites.
The company has reset its PBR target through 2031 and aims to be recognized as a profitable growth company through serial M&A and AI-driven management innovation. It aims to redefine traditional industries, using the value enhancement of group companies as a model case.
