Meitetsu will set up a booth at the “Sky Day Airport Festa in Centrair 2026,” to be held at Chubu Centrair International Airport on 7 November, and will operate some limited express services between Gifu and the airport using 1200 Series “Panorama Super” trains.
Meitetsu announced that, in conjunction with the event, it will set up a sales booth and operate some limited express services using 1200 Series trains. The event will take place from 10:00 to 16:00 on 7 November 2026 at Center Pier Garden on the first floor of the passenger terminal building.
The limited express services to Chubu Centrair International Airport will depart Meitetsu Gifu at 10:31, arrive at Nagoya at 11:00 and arrive at the airport at 11:36. Another service will depart Gifu at 13:01, arrive at Nagoya at 13:30 and arrive at the airport at 14:06. Services from the airport to Gifu will depart at 11:47, arrive at Nagoya at 12:25 and arrive at Gifu at 12:54, and depart at 14:17, arrive at Nagoya at 14:55 and arrive at Gifu at 15:24.
The 1200 Series trains are designated “Panorama Super.” Event-limited initiatives, including special destination boards and sales in the first-class cars, have also been announced. Service details may change due to weather or other conditions.
Meitetsu will also sell event merchandise and provide information on goods, including quantity-limited products and purchase limits. Information on event-related advertising and train operations will also be provided.
