Pococha, operated by DeNA Co.,Ltd., and Hokuriku Broadcasting (MRO) will launch an initiative linking television and radio programs with live streaming. As the first initiative, Yukari Matsui (松井 祐香里) of Hokuriku Idol Club, who will serve as a reporter at the live broadcast of Kanazawa Marathon 2026, is scheduled to stream live on Pococha during breaks in the coverage.
Going forward, the plan is to provide content on Pococha that enhances enjoyment of programs, timed to broadcasts such as MRO's television program “Zekkōchō W” and radio program “Nokotora Radio.” Pococha has previously developed live-streaming initiatives in partnership with regional broadcasters.
By partnering with MRO, which produces television and radio programs and events throughout Ishikawa Prefecture, the initiative aims to raise awareness of Pococha among viewers in Hokuriku and offer new ways to enjoy the programs. Together with local performers and Hokuriku Idol Club, it will stream the live appeal of Hokuriku and Kanazawa.
In addition to live streams supporting Kanazawa Marathon 2026 and broadcast-linked streams, the initiative is intended to deliver coverage of regional events, behind-the-scenes footage from programs and the personalities of performers as part of Pococha's track record of regional partnerships. Pococha is positioned as a live-streaming app operated by DeNA Co.,Ltd.
