デジタルアーツ announced that its cloud service operating environment had been accessed without authorization and that information on some customers using six services, including i-FILTER@Cloud, may have been viewed. The traces date back to around July 2025.
The company said that credentials used to operate its cloud services had been fraudulently obtained by a third party, and that the third party had used them to gain access to the operating environment. The potential impact is believed to involve the viewing of information on some customers using six cloud services, including i-FILTER@Cloud, with traces dating back to an earlier period.
A comprehensive inspection using AI was conducted on 9 October 2026, revealing traces of unauthorized access that had not been found in previous inspections. It has not yet been disclosed how the credentials were obtained.
The potentially affected information belongs to some customers using the six services. As a countermeasure, the company has asked all relevant parties to change both administrator and user passwords, and will contact customers requiring additional action individually. No customer information has been confirmed to have been taken outside the company, and there have been no reports of secondary damage.
Following the unauthorized access, the company invalidated and replaced credentials, stopped suspicious programs, and replaced server authentication keys. It said it will continue monitoring, strengthen credential and access controls, and rebuild the network.
