Boomi's Japanese subsidiary and JSOL have signed an OEM agreement and will strengthen API integration capabilities by combining JSOL's EDI services with Boomi's technology. They aim to further develop a data integration platform, including through the use of AI, in the future.
Boomi's Japanese subsidiary announced on 5 November that it had signed an OEM agreement with JSOL. The collaboration will combine Boomi's integration platform with JSOL's expertise in building and operating EDI services to further develop a data integration platform.
The aim of the collaboration is to strengthen the framework for meeting data integration needs originating from inter-company transaction data. By integrating Boomi's data integration technology with JSOL's expertise in file-exchange EDI and Web-EDI, the companies aim to reduce the burden of integration development and operations and create an environment for rapid, flexible implementation.
The companies will establish a framework providing comprehensive support, from EDI connections with business partners in Japan and overseas to data integration between systems within companies and cloud services. The initiative is expected to contribute to greater operational efficiency and the promotion of digital transformation. They will also consider developing the platform in the future into one that supports the use of AI and data analytics.
The companies indicated a policy of promoting data utilization by Japanese companies through the further development of the data integration platform.
